Prada Marfa, a permanently installed sculpture by artists ELMGREEN and DRAGSET, is located in the middle of the desert, northwest of Valentine, Texas, just off U.S. Route 90. The installation was established in October 2005 and intended to never be repaired, so it might slowly degrade back into the natural landscape. Text and Photo Alexandra Gordienko
